These shots were involved in the final video. There were many other takes at different angles but we chose these because they were the most successful and they fitted well together.
We did not use a clapper board but filmed the entire sequence until we were happy with the final result. We had a notice on the outside of the door which said 'no entry filming in progress.'

Setting up and using Equipment
When setting up a tripod you need to ensure that it is spread apart. Secondly, you adjust the leg locks by un-doing them. You then adjust the tripods feet to change the height of it and when you are happy with the height of the tripod you then adjust the leg locks which will keep it at the height you want. This is because the leg locks secures the tripod and stays steady. You need to ensure that you keep it locked as you may drop and break the camera. Another reason it needs to be locked is that if it is unsteady the camera may be unbalanced and when filming the camera can often be shakey and difficult to film straight.
Canon Legria HF R28
The red button located at the end of the camera is the start / stop button. This allows people to start and stop filming whenever they like.
On the inside of the camera is the on/off button, which turns the camera on and off. Once filming, it allows you to watch back your filming aswell.Skills needed to know how to use the camera are basic personal skills which people generally have. They just need the time to sit down aand work it out as all it requires is patience and knowelege. For example, you would need to know if there are any hazrads or health and safety problems that could occure in the working place that could affect filming. You also need to have the patience just incase anything goes wrong; and ensure it can be fixed without any stress.
In editing you need to have some expiernece in knowing what the different tools do and how to get it from the camera, to the editing mac and copy to DVD.
Safe working Practices
Personal behaviour, Care of equipment:
In order to make the filming successful as possible, we each had to take responsiblity for the equipment and the location we were filming in. Before filming, Amber, Rianna and myself went to the atrium to check everything was in place and ready to film. We set up the table before filming to make sure that the Drawers have a safe place to stand on whilst filming as they were someone's technology product so we needed to take good care of them. Once it was all set up, Amber and I went to pick up the drawers from the technology department and used a trolley to carry them to the atrium as they were heavy. Once we did the first bit of filming, we took a short break for Lunch but locked the doors of the atrium so other students could not get inside to take extra care of the drawers and ensure the security of the camera equipment. Once filming had finshed we ensured that we took the drawers back to the technology block safely and all camera equipment was returned to media.
