Agenda's

Agenda 1 for meeting to be held on Monday 19th March 2012  - 10.05 - 11.05am. 
The group set goals that are aiming to achieve:
The group want to come up with suggestions for the advert for the drawers, so that by the next lesson we would have a final idea and be able to start creating storyboards to be able to see it visually.
The group will agree a date for the next meeting.

Achievements :
We came up with ideas for our advert after looking at examples on youtube for inspiration. We each created our own story board within the group and then selected two of the best ideas from each of us to make a final storyboard which we will use to write a script for our advertisement. 

In conclusion this meeting had a successful outcome because we all contributed ideas for our commercial, for example we discussed how many actors we should use and decided upon 2 actors. I think our group achieved successful teamwork. 

Minutes for meeting held on Monday 19th March 2012

Present at meeting; Tom Daniells, Elliot Robins, Rianna Dulake and Amber Gardener.

Amber said that our advertisement had to appeal it to the right target audience which was male and that a cheesy american theme would be rememberable.
Tom replied that we could use a cheesy theme track to go with our advert so that the audience would remember our advert"

Rianna asked who could be used as our actors?

Elliot suggested Cory, Rob, Danielle, or Lemar.

Amber agreed that these people would be good for the roles, as they are confident and they do drama.

Rianna then asked what props and equipment we would need and she suggested a camera and tripod.

Tom said the drawers that we are advertising are the essential prop. 



Rianna said she would bring in some broken draws as a prop, so one of the actors can use it, and ask for new ones which will be the drawers Steve made.


The rest of the meeting was given over to making storyboards and selecting a final one for the advert. The date of the next meeting was agreed as Wednesday 21st March 2012 at 10:05.


Agenda 2 for meeting held on Wednesday 21st March 2012 10:05-11:05

10:05                 The minutes from meeting 19th March were read and agreed as a true record.


10:10                   Recce of 5 locations that are being considered for the advert by Tom and   Amber.
                            Elliot and Rianna to finalise the storyboard for the advert and to ensure all props and
                            equipment are availble.

10:45                 The group will reconvene to discuss the location for the shoot and agree a shooting schedule.

11:05                 End of meeting.

Minutes for meeting held on Wednesday 21st March 2012 at 10:05-11:05

Present at meeting; Tom Daniells, Elliot Robins, Rianna Dulake and Amber Gardener.

Elliot and Rianna reported that all props had been provided and that the equipment would have to be booked one week before the advertisment was to be filmed in order to ensure that we don't clash another groups filming schedule. 

Tom and Amber reported on the suitability of the 5 locations following their recce of the site. Tom said that M16 was too small but the atrium, main hall, SDC training room and the drama studio were all possibilities. By unanimous agreement it was decided that the atrium would be the most suitable location because of the size and good natural lighting from the roof.

The final storyboard was considered for it's suitability after the location had been decided but no adjustments was necessary as everything was suitable for the atrium.

The group decided on four suitable dates in April for the filming but these would have to be agreed with the actors and also whether the atrium and equipment were available.

The dates were Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th, Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th. Elliot was to talk to the proposed actors, Tom was to book the atrium and Rianna was to book out the filming equipment. 

The date of the next meeting was agreed as Monday 26th March 2012 at 10:05.

This screen shot shows the booking of our team for the camera to film the advertisement so we didn't clash with another group. 

This booking sheet shows that we booked Friday 18th May 2012, Period 3, lunch and Period 4.

We also needed editing time because we decided to create two versions of the advert; one was going to be the original unabridged 55 seconds long version and the other was an abrigded version of 24 seconds duration. The reason being we wanted to make the advert as close to television advertisements as possible. On television they tend to show a shorter version once the audience has become familiar with the original longer version and to fit in with a shorter time slot.

Production Schedule

Rianna, Amber and Elliot and I decided we were going to film this advertisement on Friday 18th May 2012. The reason we choose to film then was because it is a day we were all free and had free lessons avalible to film.

We do not need any other extra equipment because it has been provided by the school. 

Missing Personnel
We have actors to perform in the advert for us. If any of the actors were missing, one of our group agreed to stand in. Fortunately the actors were present but Elliot and I were unavailable.  

Broken Equipment
If there is any broken equipment we will replace it and pay for the damages if caused by us. 

Bad Weather

The weather would not affect our filming as it is being filmed inside.
